Alexander Reichartz

Managing Director and Shareholder

Alexander Reichartz combines hands-on craftsmanship, engineering expertise and a particular passion for timber as a building material. After completing his Abitur at Gymnasium Korschenbroich in 2000, he first trained as a carpenter, qualifying as a journeyman carpenter in 2003.

He then studied civil engineering with a specialisation in timber engineering at FH/HAWK Hildesheim. During his studies he worked as a student assistant at the LHT timber-technology laboratory and at the chairs of timber construction, engineering mechanics and mathematics. His bachelor’s thesis, ‘Overhead line poles above 45 kV - possibilities in timber’, was recognised by the Holzingenieurwesen support association.

Since 2008 Alexander Reichartz has worked at induo Systemholztechnik GmbH in Korschenbroich, initially in structural engineering. In 2012 he was licensed as a qualified structural engineer authorised to submit building documents with the Chamber of Engineers for Construction NRW. That same year he took over as head of the induo Modular Construction and induo Engineering divisions.

Since 2015 Alexander Reichartz has been Managing Director and Shareholder of the induo group. His work is defined by the combination of craftsmanship, engineering precision and the conviction that timber is a modern, high-performance and sustainable building material with a great future.

Pine forest - induo's sustainable source of raw material
Sustainability

Infrastructure with a climate-positive balance

We are fully aware of our responsibility towards the environment and society (ESG). For us, sustainability is not an empty promise - because wood is the only building material that actively contributes to climate protection.

CO₂ storage

The Scots pine used to make our power and telephone poles stores more carbon dioxide (CO₂) during its growth than induo® emits across the entire processing and logistics chain.

Exclusively sustainable forestry

We use raw materials exclusively from sustainably and responsibly managed forests in Northern and Central Europe. This responsible forest management ensures the continuous regeneration of resources, the protection of groundwater and the preservation of local fauna and biodiversity.

Certified wood protection for maximum longevity

Our modern, chromium-free impregnation methods guarantee an extremely long service life for the timber - even in the critical ground-to-air zone - without disturbing the ecological balance of the soil.
