Alexander Reichartz
Managing Director and Shareholder
Alexander Reichartz combines hands-on craftsmanship, engineering expertise and a particular passion for timber as a building material. After completing his Abitur at Gymnasium Korschenbroich in 2000, he first trained as a carpenter, qualifying as a journeyman carpenter in 2003.
He then studied civil engineering with a specialisation in timber engineering at FH/HAWK Hildesheim. During his studies he worked as a student assistant at the LHT timber-technology laboratory and at the chairs of timber construction, engineering mechanics and mathematics. His bachelor’s thesis, ‘Overhead line poles above 45 kV - possibilities in timber’, was recognised by the Holzingenieurwesen support association.
Since 2008 Alexander Reichartz has worked at induo Systemholztechnik GmbH in Korschenbroich, initially in structural engineering. In 2012 he was licensed as a qualified structural engineer authorised to submit building documents with the Chamber of Engineers for Construction NRW. That same year he took over as head of the induo Modular Construction and induo Engineering divisions.
Since 2015 Alexander Reichartz has been Managing Director and Shareholder of the induo group. His work is defined by the combination of craftsmanship, engineering precision and the conviction that timber is a modern, high-performance and sustainable building material with a great future.
