Unimpregnated round wood poles

Top-quality, debarked and dried logs from slow-grown Scots pine. The perfect, standard-compliant raw material basis for deep impregnation at your plant.

Unimpregnated round wood poles - induo®

As a direct manufacturer and leading global supplier, induo® offers first-class, untreated wood poles for the highest industrial requirements. Our peeled logs and untreated logs come 100% from carefully selected Scots pine (Pinus Sylvestris) from sustainably managed forests in Northern and Central Europe.

We supply flawlessly smooth, white-peeled poles (pine poles). These defect-free blanks form the optimum basis for untreated wood poles in telecommunications and power supply, as well as for professional use in agriculture.

Standard conformity and optimum impregnability (standard "Plug & Play")

The range of raw poles is aimed at professional pole manufacturers and impregnation plants that carry out further processing, classification and impregnation in their own facilities. As an international wholesaler or local operator, you can buy bulk quantities from us directly ex works. We guarantee you seamless continuity of supply as well as individually calculated prices based on your annual purchase volumes.

Technical parameters and advantages

Standard conformity

Our high-quality white round wood poles - also known in the industry as untreated round wood poles and white-peeled round timber - are professionally felled and harvested, debarked, peeled, sorted, seasonally dried and stored strictly in accordance with the requirements of the European standard EN 14229, ENA TS 43-88 and the British standard BS 1990.

Installation readiness

Before you impregnate the wood poles, we prepare your peeled wood poles exactly to your individual specifications. We saw the pole tips, carry out precise milling and drill all necessary mounting holes to the millimetre according to individual technical production drawings. You receive a product that is ready for immediate use and can go straight into your impregnation plant.

Precise dimensions for every engineering project

We offer round wood poles (round poles) with standard lengths (untreated long poles) up to 16 metres, with butt diameters of 14 cm to 42 cm at the butt and 10 cm to 30 cm at the top. Standard specifications: lengths and butt diameters:

Length Butt diameter (Ø)
6 m 14-22 cm
7 m 16-22 cm
8 m 16-26 cm
9 m 17-30 cm
10 m 18-32 cm
11 m 19-34 cm
12 m 20-36 cm

Special lengths

Up to 16 m in the standard range

Oversizes for special projects: Beyond this, we supply long poles in special lengths from 16 up to 24 metres for demanding infrastructure projects.

From single poles to solid H- and A-pole constructions

induo® reliably supplies all pole types for your engineering project in the energy, telecommunications and agriculture sectors:

  • Support poles and telecommunications poles for network expansion
  • Angle and terminal poles (anchor poles) for high tensile loads
  • Single and double wood poles in overhead line construction
  • Solid poles in A-construction as well as H-poles for heavy cable and transformer loads
  • Round palisades and robust posts for agriculture, paddock construction and professional fencing.

To the full FAQ
Why do you offer exclusively pine wood (Pinus Sylvestris) as the raw material basis?

For purely qualitative reasons. Pine wood from the cool regions of Europe is characterised by a wide and very uniform sapwood zone. This biological property surpasses spruce wood, for example, many times over in its ability to deeply absorb impregnation agents and in saturation strength. Our unimpregnated pine poles are the guarantee of an ideal basis for pressure impregnation.

How long is the natural service life of wood poles without chemical impregnation?

Raw wood exposed to aggressive weathering has limited durability. Studies for the Central European climate show that an unimpregnated log lasts 1 to 4 years directly in the ground, and about 2 to 5 years without direct ground contact. This is why our untreated poles are always intended for further professional protective treatment.

Can I order unimpregnated wood with a special diameter for palisade production?

Yes, we supply material with the complete size range. Our raw, peeled poles are ideally suited to companies that produce specialised protection solutions for agriculture and road construction.
